Theatrical Resources opened its doors in 1982.

Originally, our aim was to provide specialized equipment and tools for the television industry to support our Staging Supervisor services.  We began with building customized road boxes, star cyces, and staging equipment used in the production of television specials and musical series. Some of the early projects included Star Search, The Barbara Mandrell Show, and On Stage America

Over the years, Theatrical Resources then expanded to its staging services. We began providing steel decking for the construction of temporary stages for such shows as The American Music Awards, The Grammy Awards and The Academy Awards. Theatrical Resources further expanded by also providing labor services.

Theatrical Resources became a signatory to the Union Contract of the International Alliance of Theatrical and Stage Employees (IATSE). As a result we are able to help television production companies staff and payroll their union employees.

Designed to take into account each client’s unique set of needs, Theatrical Resources provides an accurate and cost effective labor services budget for each show. With our help, our clients are alleviated of the time consuming task of dealing with union contract negotiation and labor fringe compliance.

Theatrical Resources is looking forward to its continued expansion within the Television industry including Live Events, Award Shows, Musical Specials, and more.
